Hello :)
My name is Shayla Bunce and I hand make one of a kind jewelry pieces. I love sparkling bling but not at the price of a wedding ring. I do my best to keep my prices reasonable for both the buyer and myself so I can keep making new pieces and offering constant sales and offers as well as free shipping.
I learnt how to make jewelry at a young age because well... I was I little girl who liked sparkly things. I didn't like asking my parents for money to spend on little bracelets and pieces I would probably loose (I was young but not naive to my messy room). So I cleaned of a spot on my small desk and started reading tutorial books from beading kits I always got for Christmas and birthdays.
This is also when I learnt that my ears DID NOT like fake metals in them. So I also offer Sterling Silver customization's to ALL of my earnings. In an effort to keep the prices still equally reasonable for making and selling there's only a dollar's difference when you get this customization. It's like adding real butter to your popcorn at the movie theater... but sterling silver for your ears. Now I know there are many levels to metal allergies so I am willing to order in certain materials for your order if you are willing to wait an extra week or two while I wait for your materials to arrive.
Aside from making jewelry I spend my time doing paper crafts and art journaling. I found art journaling was a perfect way for me to organize all of my things and still feel like I wanted to open that note page again. It's a lot easier to focus when I like what I am looking at, regular old ruler lines make me sleepy. Also as a visual learner I like that I can make some creative spreads to help me remember my thinking process.
I am really all about bringing opportunities to get creative so I sell little grab bags & stationary kits for art journaling on my planner channels. Check out my instagram @myartsyplanner. The kits are made of paper kits, stickers, washi Sample and sometimes magazine cutouts to fit the theme. I find most of my supplies from secondhand stores because they have some REALLY cool stuff that people have been hiding in their stash for years. Things like washi tapes and stickers I often out source from Wish.com and other online stores. I have the same mentality about price with my grab bags, I want it to be reasonable for both buyers and making wise. Since they are fairly cheap to find supplies for and light to ship I try to keep the cost under $10 per item -with free shipping included.
